My mother-in-law's sugar cookie recipe
I just got done making these. I’ve sent this recipe out before and while I’m thinking about it, I figured I should send it again. It is just so easy. I got to know my Instagram friend Jess through this recipe. He and his wife liked them so much, he reached out and we struck up a friendship over a shared love of bourbon and cookies. LOL.
They’re super easy and perfect for a Sunday evening. My mother-in-law actually got this from a friend of her’s, but I don’t know the lady’s name, so my mother-in-law gets the credit.
Ingredients:
2 cups self-rising flour (250g)
1 cup sugar (200g)
2 eggs
2/3 cup canola or vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º.
Mix by hand in a bowl and drop by teaspoon-full on a lightly greased cookie sheet or one lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool on a cookie rack.
